Today at Google I/O 2012, the company announced Nexus 7, the 7-inch-screen tablet will feature Google’s latest version of the Android operating system, called Jelly Bean, a 1,280-by-800 pixel high-definition screen, a front-facing camera and comes with Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth and NFC. The tablet weighs 340 grams and has a battery life of nine hours of video playback. It will also be the first Android device to come with Google Chrome as its default Internet browser.
Nexus 7 is "built for Google Play," said Hugo Barra, product management director for Android at Google.
